Application Exclusion Recommendations For The Halcyon Agent

Overview:

While Halcyon has not received confirmed reports of conflicts between the Agent and other security products; If you suspect a conflict between another anti-virus or EDR/EPP tool and the Halcyon Agent, implement the following exclusions in the 3rd party tool to resolve those conflicts.

Action:

Exclude the following Halcyon directories and their sub-directories:
C:\Program Files\Halcyon\HalcyonAR
C:\ProgramData\Halcyon\HalcyonAR

If the 3rd party tool performs application hooking, exclude hooking into the following:
C:\Windows\System32\hlcnuser.dll
C:\Program Files\Halcyon\HalcyonAR\halcyonUI.exe
C:\Program Files\Halcyon\HalcyonAR\agent.exe
