Halcyon Console and Halcyon Agent to cloud communications
Overview
To ensure access and connectivity from your internal network to Halcyon services, ensure the following cloud resources are allowed through your network.
Requirements
- Console and Agent communications occur over TCP port 443.
- Halcyon Windows Agent service and UI communicate over port 50051.
- Support for gRPC over HTTP/2.
gRPC and HTTP/2 Requirement:
|
The Halcyon agent communicates using gRPC over HTTP/2 and requires that HTTP/2 over TLS be preserved end‑to‑end. Network devices such as proxies, firewalls, or security gateways may perform packet inspection as long as they do not terminate TLS, modify the encrypted payload, or downgrade HTTP/2 to HTTP/1.1. Any device that cannot maintain end‑to‑end HTTP/2 over TLS must be configured to bypass or exempt Halcyon traffic. |
